The Estate

Located a stone's throw from the famous Ardèche Gorges , the Domaine de Bournet extends over 26 hectares of vines spread across two terroirs: Grospierres (IGP Coteaux de l'Ardèche) and Orgnac-l'Aven (AOC Côtes du Vivarais).

The estate is centered around a magnificent 18th-century Ardèche farmhouse , surrounded by vineyards on a single plot of land with clay-limestone soils , bathed in sunshine and swept by the mistral wind. These unique conditions allow for the production of characterful wines that reflect all the authenticity and richness of the Ardèche terroir.

Domaine de Bournet is also a vibrant and dynamic place, with numerous projects planned for the future: agroecological plantings, new vintages, and improvements to welcome our visitors. Here, tradition, passion, and respect for nature come together to create unique wines and share our love of the terroir.

We cultivate six emblematic grape varieties , carefully adapted to our terroir: Chardonnay and Viognier for white wines, as well as Syrah, Grenache, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for reds and rosés.

The harvest is carried out according to the plots and the style of wine sought, either by hand or with the help of our own harvesting machine , in order to harvest the grapes at perfect ripeness and to preserve their quality.
